That could be very interesting. I know that was just a couple of weeks ago, but have you heard of an eta for such hosting?
I asked them and just got a reply from Matt that "hgserve.org now exists", http://selenic.com/pipermail/mercurial/2007-May/013105.html - but I haven't heard any further details yet.
