On the Mercurial front, last night I tried to use yasvn2hg to convert
the Mailman repository to hg. The conversion failed however:
Error: could not classify changeset 102
I haven't had time to try some of the other conversion scripts.
I'd bet this problem is related to the way SF did the original cvs to
svn conversion. 'svn log -r102' is unhelpful and 'svn diff -r102'
produces gobnormous amounts of output (537k lines). It looks like a
revision that copied things from the trunk to the Release_2_1-maint
branch.
To be honest, I haven't tried the bzr conversion, but I know that at
one point (way before I joined Canonical) it was done successfully.
The current Launchpad branches are using the old SF urls and are out
of date, but I'm getting that fixed.
Is anybody interested in trying to complete the Mercurial
conversion? I can make a bz2-tarball of the svn repository available
if you want to give it a shot. It's about 87MB.
