Missing vnsprintf on Compaq Tru64 Unix

Greetings,
I'm trying to install mailman 1.0rc3 on a Compaq Alpha 2100 running Tru64 V4.0D but am missing the vnsprintf call when linking the cgi-wrapper. I'm using gcc 2.8.1 to compile it.
Is the code for this function available someplace?
