Initial Comment: As reported by Daniel Buchmann, transcheck doesn't detect correctly when a literal % is expressed as a double %, e.g.

%%(<variabelnavn>)s

is detected a variable reference to interpolate insted of a simple text.

The fix would require a much more complex parser, which is not worth it now but could be in 2.2.
