Hi,

Yesterday i was looking where mailman stores the pending-for-moderation messages ... it took a while before I found out... cause i'd never suspect it to be inside config.db ?

I must confess that this caught me by surprise when I first saw it, too, but I've never gotten round to try changing it. Ideally we shouldn't tempt Murphy by saving non-config data in config.db, so I guess this is one more to be fixed post 1.0.

what's the philosophy on that...

I guess it was put there because "it's convenient" and/or "it works" :)
