Using Mailman CVS, I get the following error whenever trying to change any privacy options for a newly-created list via the admin interface:
Error: Invalid value for variable: ban_list
But I don't have anything in my ban_list, it's completely empty.
If I put a value into the ban_list (foo@bar.com) then I can set my preferences correctly.

I think this one is the same as the bug Marc reported. Should be fixed now in CVS.
