I've noticed that the file data/qrunner.pid is created with perms 666 and IMVHO this my not be a Good Thing, especially because parent directory is world readable in my setup (all stuff in /home/mailman).

I think that the problem is in bin/mailmanctl, my be the

os.umask(0)

at line 230 of mailmanctl ?
