The OTHER most-wanted feature for me, besides per-member aliases, is moderator editable canned rejection reasons. Most lists have a slowly growing and changing - but otherwise quasi-stable - list of "most popular reasons" for rejecting a posting.

I'm sure most moderators would jump at the chance to select from a customizable set of canned reasons when plowing through the admindb queue. If you needed something new or different you could always type it in, as now - but there could also be a "Save this as a canned response" button. Or maybe it's simpler to do all that maintenance on a separate admin subscreen.

I had hacked something like this into an old version of Mailman, but never re-implemented it for the new admindb interface -- the implementation would be quite different.

I would like to have any embedded list footers in replies to the list to be stripped out. They can really add up in a long thread and because they are static, it is a no brainer that the server could strip them and save those replying some effort.
