Important thing to remember (and probably something that ought to go into the faq, or the readme, or somewhere, or even into Defaults.py)...
If you change your VERP options, do a mailmanctl restart so that the damn queuerunners will re-read mm_cfg.py... Unless you *like* chasing your tail for a couple of hours.
I never do *anything* to my Mailman setup without running /etc/init.d/mailman stop first, and then /etc/init.d/mailman start later. (I got this training when restart didn't really work, and it keeps me from having inconsistent files while the runners are running, which might not be an issue, or might, I don't know.)
