Possible Bug in the Docs of GNU Mailman?

Upon searching for various models in the docs of GNU Mailman ( One which is on ReadTheDocs ), I entered a query "Users" which gave me the result [1].
The problem is that the links to the pages which the search yielded, gave 404. This behaviour is rather peculiar and if it is reproducible in other machines ( other browsers specifically ), then it is either problem with our docs or with ReadTheDocs as a whole.
It was an observation worth noticing and pondering about hence I created this thread.
If this behaviour is expected or not reproducible or there is something I am missing here, then kindly provide some more pointers on this.

I have reproduced this problem - but please be aware that you are using an old version of document. The "release-3.0" points to the old version. You might switch to the latest version using the switch in the bottom corner of the left.
This must be a problem of RTDs side.

Yes, you are right this problem is not there in release 3.1 although I wonder why the previous release of ReadTheDocs was used by my browser as default.
Thanks for helping

At what URL did you start?

Well I generally obtained the URL from search which somehow landed me to a previous release, although this problem is not reproducible now in my browser and I am at the latest release always

I can't reproduce the problem either, but the bug would be in ReadTheDocs and not in Project because nothing changed.
Search is provided by sphinx, so even if it was reproducible locally, we should figure out a reproducible case and report of sphinx.

So it seems the issue is you went to some URL for the 3.0 version of the docs and while there you did a search that returned hits for documents that didn't exist in the 3.0 docs.
This would appear to be an issue with Sphinx search. It appears that the search hits in this case have URLs ending with document_name.rst.html instead of document_name.html. I.e., an extraneous '.rst'.
This issue only seems to occur for the release 3.0 docs. Release 3.1 and latest seem fine.
