I get the following when I try to run "newlist":

Traceback (innermost last): File "/home/admin/src/mailman-2.0.13/bin/newlist", line 52, in ? import paths ImportError: No module named paths

any ideas?

Don't run "newlist" from the source directory, run it from the installation
directory. This is true for some other scripts as well.

Check the installation directory, and you will find a file "paths.py", which is
correctly imported from "newlist" (and other) scripts. The same library can be found in other directories as well (i.e. $install_dir/cron/).
