I notice that there are patches available to integrate an archive search feature into Mailman, and at least one of the patches (#444884) has been maintained for years over the various versions of Mailman.

Is there a plan for adding this incredibly useful feature to Mailman? Why hasn't patch 444884 been incorporated into the code as a supported feature?
