Hi, I've been correcting and updating the Dutch translation. We are working on MM 2.1.5 from Debian. I thought it might be usefull to send the files to this list too. They can be downloaded on http://pub.telenet.be/~luc/mailman/ Also sent to Debian as bug 306748 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=306748 Maybe parts of this translation can be used for the new release? Hi all, I've been out for a long time from Mailman translation (since 11/2004), but after reading Tokio Kikuchi announces about the release 2.1.6, I've feel encouraged to update and make checks for consistency of all translation. I've one doubth, throughth: I've done all chages in Release_2_1-maint CVS revision tag, is this tag still valid for current? Updated Danish translation of Mailman

Hello everybody! I have made a fairly large update of the Danish translation of Mailman, and I was wondering how I should procede to get it integrated upstream in Mailman. I have updated the Danish translation which ship with Mailman-2.1.5, how can I merge that with the upstream cvs version? I have translated a lot of open source applications, among them Gnome, Mozilla Sunbird, various Mono applications, Ubuntu, Fedora Core and more ... Best regards -- Martin Willemoes Hansen

Question about the utf-8 tag

Hello list, I'm in the process of starting to do the translation for Mailman into Hindi (hi_IN.UTF-8). I had a few questions first, please redirect me if this is not the correct place to ask. 1. Is there a priority in which the translations should be done? 2. What percentage or translations costitute a go ahead for inclusion of a locale in a future release? 3. Is it possible to just translate the public html pages first, and have only those included first? 4. The Mailman list I own, has the archives at http://lists.sarovar.org/pipermail/devanaagarii-lipi/ - the pages there have the utf-8 tag, however the pages do not get displayed in utf-8 the first time. That's not true for the other pages on the same server, only for the Mailman pages. Other sites that have the utf-8 tag (eg http://devanaagarii.net) also display utf-8 in the first shot. Why is this behavior so? Is there any other setting involved? Last chance to update for 2.1.6 final

I just wanted to let all language champions know that this is your last chance to update your translations for 2.1.6 final. With 2.1.6rc3 and the last couple of post-rc3 changes, I'm feeling pretty good about this release. I'd like to see us get it out by the end of this month, if not a little sooner. So please finish and checkin, or submit, your updates for 2.1.6 final within the next week. If you have some important pending changes that you need a little more time for, please let Tokio and myself know as soon as possible. Thanks! -Barry
