Hello. I am a beginner mailman's administrator. Excuseme, but my english isn't very good. I had mailman 1.0 with sendmail-8.10.2. When I upgrating to mailman2.0beta5 I have very problems. Hi all! I tried to install mailman-2.0beta5 under SuSE Linux 6.3. Regarding my previous question. This is not a bug. There is option in sendmail for rcpt timeout that is by default 1h. Lowering this limit fixed the problem.

How to trace a lockup?

I'm experiencing a lockup condition on FreeBSD-3.4 with mailman. It's taking an inordinate amount of time (almost indefinately) stuck in the poll state. The qrunner process seems to stick in the "poll" state (as reported by top) indefinately. lsof shows a socket open to the mailer (postfix or sendmail both tried in this case) and it also shows 0 bytes in the transmit and recieve counts. PPPd running problem

Dear Anybody I am facing a problem when i try to run pppd being any user other than root in RedHat 6.2 . But in rh.60 I used "chmod u+s pppd" and any user can run pppd after dial-in. In rh6.2 it says that Remote system should be authenticated even i try to run pppd from console also being other than root. Thanks for any help in advance. Thnaks selim

Hi all ! Is there anybody who can help me to configure dialin server in RH6.2 In rh6.0 other than root could run the pppd after "chmod u+s /usr/sbin/pppd" But in rh6.2 i can not run pppd other than root doing the same "chmod u+s pppd" when I try to run pppd other than root it says " remote system should authenticate itself. Even from console I tried to run pppd other than root it said the same. Please help. Thanks selim

hey, I've just setup mailman on my system, everything seems to work... But when someone posts to the list, maillogs show the mail getting sent the the wrapper script, and nothing gets sent out.. Trying to install Mailman 2.0b5 on a Solaris 2.5.1 box running Python 1.5.2. Everything seems to compile fine, though I can't get the system to interact with sendmail correctly... (ie.
