Hi, It says in the feature list that it does virtual domains, but I couldn't find anything in the doc about doing it, any idea ? I've RTFM many time before posting. I have everything working fine for one domain, and the web interface would work with any virtual domain BUT the domain the list is belonging to is the one used to actually install the software : I have : whateverlist(a)puzzlesol.com instead of whateverlist(a)myclientsdomain.com Do I have to make a separate installation for … [View More]

missing moderator approval messages

Postings to list never make it to the moderator for approval. Do you know someone I can hire to fix this problem or do you have any idea what it might be? Thanks, Cory

I was curious if there was a way to (in effect masq, or at least make a little less obvious) the fact that mail being sent to a user on a list was indeed being sent to a list. More specifically, here's what I am looking for. 1. I would like to change the: from "listname-request", to something more along the lines of: from "Our Department", or something similar... 2. How difficult is it to use FrontBase as the storage location for the name and email address list and message content storage for Mailman? If such is possible, what is entailed? Are there models, examples available? Mike W.

Hi, I am using Mailman 2.0.6 on Debian/stable/x86 (exim 3.12, apache 1.3.9), and I am having a problem with the mailing list archives accessible but not updating for new messages received. (I am not using the Debian package of mailman; mine is installed from source.) The problem occurred when I moved mailman over to a new server a couple of months ago. I have a brand-new installed Mailman 2.0.6 on mydomain.com. I set up an announcement list configured as follow: host_name mydomain.com (default) reply_goes_to_list Explicit Address reply_to_address info(a)otherdomain.com In fact, I want to force all replies to some contact address on another domain.
