I need a way to: publish an address have that address gated to an existing Mailman list, without approval.. on a temporary basis. I have a forward in place, but Mailman rejects all the mail. Restrict posting privilege to list members? (member_posting_only) (Details) is set to NO. The admin interface message is: Posting to a restricted list by sender requires approval Suggestions?

Mailman configuration error

Hi -- I'm trying to install Mailman on a Mandrake 10.1 system. I have new installations of Python 2.3.4 and GCC 3.4.2 both compiled from source -- no rpms. When I run the configure script I get the error quoted below. This occurs even as root, so I don't think it's a permission problem. I've done everything I can think of but can't resolve the issue. I have runned a 30mn research in the Web, Faqs, but I can´t find a tutorial that is easy to understand since I am not a programmer or even similar. user unknown in virtual mailbox table?

Ok I followed the direction to setup Postfix and Mailman with virtual mailboxes to the T. however any e-mail I sent to postfix comes back complaining with the error "user unkown in virtual mailbox table?" Any ideas. I'm sure I'm just missing something simple. Thanks, Dan DanCreed(a)thecreeds.net

Hello, I'm trying to send out to a list of mine but my log files are showing something kind of weird. smtp-failure is saying "delivery to <emailaddress> failed with code -1: (1, 'address family not supported')". What could cause this kind of error? Regards Kevin
