overwrite entire list

I have about a dozen lists that I need to dump entirely and import from scratch. I see the ability to do a mass remove- but not sure how to/ what to upload to accomplish that. If I upload a new file will that overwrite or append to the current list? Removing "on behalf of"

Hey All, How do I remove the "On behalf of" in the 'From' field? I want it to either just display the list name/address or a customized address. Instead of saying "list-name-bounces(a)domain.com on behalf of list-name(a)domain.com <list-name-boucnes(a)domain.com>" I just want it to state list-name(a)domain.com in the from field (or even be able to customize the from address). I know it can be done because an old host of mine had it set that way, now I have my own hosting server and the default install displays it with the "oh behalf of". Thanks in advance, John

Get a list of approved posters?

Is there a way to generate a list of either all approved posters or of the entire list of subscribers with account information intact. I know that I can see the list in the admin interface, with the sending permissions, but it is a large list and I would like to see easily see this information in one place. -- Christopher Adams

Hi All, Could someone tell me if it is possible to change other html code in mailman. I found the edit HTML pages option in admin activities. Those has been modified. If possible to edit other code, can you tell me where to find the codes for: * Welcome page that includes all public lists, * Confirm subscription request page, * Awaiting moderator approval page, * List subscriptions for each user page and * Unscubscription results page. implicit destination problem

Greetings, I've got a mailman list (version 2.0.14) behind a firewall. As a result, anyone trying to send mail to that list sends it to an external email address which is of the format: IB_Meter_Gold_Issues%QUARTZ(a)foo.bar.com That address then gets translated internally and forwards the mail to the mailman list. The problem is that all the mail for the list is always held for approval because of the implicit destination. Normally, i thought that inputing the full email address (IB_Meter_Gold_Issues%QUARTZ(a)foo.bar.com) in the mailman privacy options for aliases that shouldn't be held when there is implicit destination would allow it to post the message to the list automatically. However, that isn't working, and it continues to get held. I've also tried listing a regexp: .*IB but that too fails. My best guess is that the % symbol in the email address is confusing mailman. Does anyone know if this is the problem? Thanks! Lonni

Mailman Blocking Squirrelmail: Bad headers?

I'm using Mailman 2.1.2 on obsd. I've seen a few threads that match my current situation: I am unable to get mails from squirrelmail-based https sessions to get to the lists I have curently working properly for all other methods of posting/replying. Dealing with AOL rejects

I am the site admin for a server running Mailman v 2.1.5 on a Linux box. We have about 600 lists running and site wide out of the over 40,000 subscribers we have several thousand AOL subscribers. As you probably know, AOL (in it's infinite wisdom) has given it's users the ability to black list anyone they want. Unfortunately, when they do and a black listed individual posts to a list that is set for replies to go to the list, the resulting bounce (example below) is unrecognized by Mailman. What I'm hoping for is that someone has written, or I can (with assistance) write something that will recognize these rejects and track them against the offending AOL member just as any other hard bounce. Any help would be appreciated.
