I am trying to build a web interface that sends mail to a Mailman list (using Mailman 2.0.13). Using php, I am constructing and sending a message (using the mail() function). I have added: Approve: <password> to the header information of a text/plain and text/html email, neither being approved. Instead, I have to log-in to the web interface and approve each message. Upgrading and archives

I have been given the task to upgrade our mail server which is running Mailman 2.0.12 The existing server will be replaced with a completely rebuild box with the latest versions of Mailman and Postfix. I have no previous experience with Mailman so I have no idea how to move the current Mailman configuration (along with all the list archives) to this new box and have them work seamlessly. Send to all lists

Question - As the server operator of a mailman server it's necessary, from time to time, to send a "broadcast" message to all the lists on the server. Taking it down for maintenance, something changes, etc. Is there any way to send a message to all the lists and have it go through regardless of moderation settings? mailman plugin support?

Is there any sort of plugin support possible for mailman? I have an interesting scenario where the end-user wants to be able to subscribe users to a sort of mailing list, where once a week for birthdays and anniversaries, a cron-job generates a list of people who are due the week following, and either prints (for snail mail) or e-mails them a coupon. DISTRIBUTION LIST

My Web Server only allows me two mailman email accounts. I need to create 4 different distribution lists. I want to send out 4 different emails at a time to 4 different groups. Is there a way to create groups or distribution lists when I add a mass number of email addresses to mailman? I really appreciate your help in this matter. Thank you, Beth Celuck

Timestamps in archive are +1 hr

Hi, The timestamps on messages in our Mailman archives are all 1 hour ahead of reality. Any ideas? I'm in the UK, where it's currently summertime, which is UTC +0100. Typing 'date' on our Mailman box gives Wednesday July 28 15:24:33 BST 2004 which looks correct to me. Need help to help a friend!

I'm new to the list, so please be kind. :-) A friend of mine running Mailman successfully on a Linux system for years moved and got another job. To make a long story short, he has a Tar file of his entire Linux system with Mailman (1.9 gigs) and wants to be able to send out an e-mail announcement to the people on that list now informing them of a delay until he gets the list back up. moderateing requests not working

Hi, I just upgraded to 2.1.5 . It seems to be working fine. THe only problem is this. A few mailing lists on the server, have all messages stopped and need to be approved by moderator. Well the messages reach there fine, emails the moderators there are msessages there, and emails the sender its waiting to be moderated.
