I am trying to configure mailing list in Mac OSX Server 10.3.5. I am having trouble posting to the list, or I should say my test users are having trouble. Upon posting to a list this message is sent back: This is the Postfix program at host test.org. I'm sorry to have to inform you that the message returned below could not be delivered to one or more destinations. For further assistance, please send mail to <postmaster> If you do so, please include this problem report. You can delete your own text from the message returned below. The Postfix program <test(a)server.test.org>: mail for server.test.org loops back to myself Reporting-MTA: dns; test.org Arrival-Date: Thu, 30 Sep 2004 13:34:37 -0400 (EDT) Final-Recipient: rfc822; test(a)server.test.org Action: failed Status: 5.0.0 Diagnostic-Code: X-Postfix; mail for server.test.org loops back to myself I am quite green at this and any help would be appreciated Thanks Derrick

Dear All I am pretty new to mail man and am having some problems in installation with version 2.1.5. 1 is it possible to get members of user lists from one server to another when migrating 2 same way is it possible to get archived mails to the new server? Chanaka-

Hello list I have a silly problem. I have on my RH-9 server 2 lists working perfect. A few days ago in ../mailman/listinfo I see only one. Both of them working with no problems. Why I canot see the second one? Thank you Nikos

dumb question

been googling around with no luck. I want to delete all the messages in a mailing lists admin requests. I have 130 odd spams I want to kill. Im also the site admin... Usiing the withlist with default_member_moderation and accept-these_nonmembers

Hi All, I'm trying to write a script where I can change the default_member_moderation and accept-these_nonmembers objects, after a new Mailman list is created automatically by a cron process. I've been able to change the "default_member_moderation" as planned, but the "accept_these_nonmembers" object I'm having troubles with. When I try to add an email address, it shows up in the configuration like this: w e b @ i s u . e d u How can I get the whole thing on one line. Okay, will I was able to use a the "list_lists -b" command to create complete listing of our lists (lists.txt). Hello, We changed the option "DEFAULT_ARCHIVE_PRIVATE" to "1" in the "Defaults.py" file, but we are wondering, "Is there a way to rest the Archive option to PRIVATE for any of our existing lists without having to go to each individual list one at a time"? Ruben
