Hi...guys i have set of mails held for moderator approval , even though i Click approve and submit the mail, mail is still in the modarator list and its not send , is there any reason for that .. Thank You Dhanushka

Global Font Change

I changed WEB_HEADER_COLOR to a dark blue and I need the font to white now. How would I do that? This question from 2004 (without an answer) is the only related thing I have found so far. Hi, Perhaps i should provide my details maybe i could get help here....i really wish to keek the vpostmaster frontend(because of the ease of account//domain creation) and still needs my mailman. below is the url to my /etc/mailman/mm_cfg.py and /etc/postfix/main.cf . mailman subscriptions broke after 2 days

I installed mailman version 2.1.14-1 from cPanel on a Lunar Pages host. It worked fine during testing of subscription process (approval required). 2 days later a user sent me an email because there had been no reply to his subscription request. I found no request in queue and no email had been sent to administrators or moderators. Suspecting user error, I tested for myself using a new email address and found that no approval requests were being sent to the 2 admins or the 3 moderators -- but there was a pending subscription request in the queue. I have tried every option I can find that is remotely related but nothing seems to get the notices out to the administrators or moderators. I even deleted their subscriptions and subscribed them again. I searched the archives and the FAQ but found nothing related. Can anyone tell me what to try? If I can find an answer I would like to try resetting all options to the original defaults -- but I can't find a way to do that either. Otherwise I guess I will have to delete the mail list entirely and start over -- which would mean making a list of all the current users and entering them back by hand :-( Thanks, Hank Montgomery

suspending lists from the command line

Bounce identity

I am using Mailman as newsletter/announcement/one-way list as described in http://wiki.list.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=4030685. There are only about 200 names in my list. I have explored the various options in bounce processing, but still cannot figure out a way to determine (1) if any of my list names are bouncing, and (2) if so, which ones are bouncing, so that I can correct them. Mailman and cpanel - opinions?

We just switched to a new VPS host for our mailing lists. I was expecting a standard Mailman installation. Instead, we got a cpanel installation. All the Mailman stuff is moved around. Is it much different administering Mailman in the cpanel installation? I have never used cpanel. Normally, I just SSH into a server and do what needs to be done on the command line. I prefer that. Should we expect any problems in the future if we want to migrate to a "normal" Mailman installation without cpanel (e.g., apt-get install mailman on Ubuntu)? Can anyone who has experience in this area offer some opinions? Should we stick with this unexpected cpanel version of Mailman or will we regret it later? I'm guessing that cpanel uses exim instead of postfix. I'm not sure how to find out (other than ask the host), but that is unexpected too. I was expecting postfix. I appreciate any thoughts.
