Hi there, I've recently set up Mailman on my server, which runs Exim as the MTA (Debian). Things worked almost like a charm, except for one little detail: the messages' headers seem a little strange to me. Who authored the message?

Since DEMARC we don't know who is authoring list messages anymore. I saw a message today sent to a list named "AlmostEverybody". The message author did not properly configure their MUA (Verizon webmail) with their proper name, so the only identifier is their email address. Approve/Deny moderated posts via email - my failure to understand how

All -- I must be confused about approving/denying moderated posts via email. Let's assume that, for the time being, I do not have access to the moderator web interface and MUST use email. When a moderated message came in this morning, I _thought_ I followed the instructions by hitting reply, then adding the Approved header to the top of the message body as below. What's the best choice as a list-owner w/out server-lvl access ?

Hi folks, My webhost is running Mailman 2.1.15 at the moment and no indication if/when Mailman will be updated to 2.1.18-1. I'm managing several lists with Yahoo and AOL subscribers (and my boss) who are upset that they've been moderated and don't care to hear about the reasons why. What are the best (and quickest) choices for a list-admin with no server-level access to Mailman? To turn off the bounces and/or set the 'reply-to' to something specific like the list address? Hi, In the latest PDF revision of the GNU Mailman - List Administration Manual <http://www.gnu.org/software/mailman/mailman-admin.pdf> , dated May 9 - 2014, the text content is missing for sections beyond 2.10 and till the end of the manual (i.e. section 6) . Possible to include unique link to archive in each message?

I've often wanted to know the URL of a specific message in an archive of a Mailman list so that I could refer to it in a later message. Unless I'm missing something, finding the URL requires manually going to the archive and searching for the message even if I happen to have it in front of me in my mail client. Avoiding DMARC unsubscribes by enabling VERP_PROBES

A post in another thread reminded me of something I had overlooked until now. If you are a site admin and you are only concerned about users being unsubscribed because of DMARC policy bounces, and you are not concerned about the mail delivery issues - i.e., it's OK if they miss the occasional post from a Yahoo or AOL user; someone else will quote it anyway ;) - you can set VERP_PROBES = Yes in mm_cg.py. Remove user from all list approved senders list

All, Can't seem to find an answer for this, but I'd imagine it would involve list_lists... but we have an employee leave rather poorly, and while I was able to remove them from all the lists with remove_members --fromall <email>, I can't seem to find a way to remove them from all lists approved senders (in sender filters) lists. Dealing with rate limiting from Roadrunner/Time Warner

Has anyone had to deal with bounces due to rate limiting from Roadrunner/Time Warner? http://postmaster.rr.com/spam#ratelimit If so, what did you do to resolve the problem? (That is, if things “got resolved.”) My hosting provider, DreamHost, continues to assert this is my problem and not theirs.
