Hi, Is it possible to use the member management form, or some tricks, to filter members authorized to post to an announce list? newsletter : How do I create a newsletter/announcement/one-way list? http://wiki.list.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=4030685 May be not… Should I use : accept_these_nonmembers and moderate everyone including the poster? I know the trick about Approved: <password> But I'm sure every post will bounce once, and the poster will forget it every time… :-\ Regards, Sylvain.

document.write('927'); Hi, Is there some simple way to just get a counter of the number member subscribed in a list? So it can be put back in some html content. I've a script for another tool which outputs JavaScript for example: document.write('927'); (not related, searching the word "counter" gave me this page : http://wiki.list.org/display/~valium I suppose you can safely remove it) Regards, Sylvain.

I'd be interested in how others have implemented this. Here are the options I've identified so far, with some questions. * FUDforum - http://www.fudforum.org/forum/ This is a forum with a 'mailing list manager' admin page. For me, the script to send list emails to the web forum only works from the command line, and I can't get postfix to pipe emails to that script (or, at least, I can't get the script to do anything). new users added to custom MemberAdaptor don't get emails

Hi folks, I have a setup where lists are not open to be joined by anyone but are managed by an LDAP database. The database is queried once an hour and the members of each list are written to a file which is then read in whenever anything is posted to a list. My problem is that newly added members seem not to be recognized until I reboot the server. Hello, I have now a running mailman and a running inn news server - only for mailing lists access (news.culte.org) I try to setup the gateway. in mailman, I wrote localhost as news server (the two apps are on the same machine) and "test" as test list. test list works test newsgroup works when I send a post to the test list, I see it in the news group but when I post in the newsgroup, I don't see it in the list! Mailman 2.1.18 final release

A critical incompatibility between the Mailman 2.1.18 final release and Python versions older than 2.6.5 or thereabouts affecting the DMARC Wrap Message action was discovered and fixed. This incompatibility also existed in the 2.1.16 and 2.1.17 releases. Thus, I have released Mailman 2.1.18-1 with a fix for this incompatibility. Please use 2.1.18-1 and not 2.1.18. Changes to archive templates have no effect

I am running Mailman version 2.1.12. When I change my templates in /usr/lib/mailman/templates/site/da/ (like admlogin.html) I see the changes taking effect (immediately, even though I didn't restart Mailman), but any changes I make to the Archive templates located in the same directory doesn't seem to have any effect.
