My hosting seems to be permanently banned by Yahoo and today Comcast started bouncing them. I worked on the yahoo problem for a week with tech support and they never seemed to make any progress. Yesterday comcast.net <http://comcast.net/> started bouncing with an RBL notice. I'm trying to run the nonmembers_modify-py script here https://www.msapiro.net/scripts/non_members but keep getting the error that the lists are non-existent. MM 2.1: User unknown in virtual mailbox table

Hi a mailing list was created with MM2.1 by a another person and I am the list administrator. This list was created empty so I started inviting people to join. However, when I started to send trial messages to the list I received this error message: This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. Member settings etc. not applied

Hi everybody, I set up mailman on a new server (Ubuntu 20, Mailman 2.1.29) and moved all user data (archives, lists) from the old server to that new environment. There were no major problems, at least that's what I thought. But now I found out - there are. Whenever I try to change in a list, let's say, member settings or approve administrative requests I get this: "The information you're about to submit ist not secure." And my changes won't be applied. Even when setting up a new list I'm running into this very error. Any ideas appreciated, thank you. Kind regards Lothar Schilling

Dear all We (small Swiss NGO) would like to add further mailing lists to our lists on Mailman. As soon as we hit http://lists.okaj.ch/mailman/create:, this error message follows: "lscgid: execve():/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/cgi-bin/create: Permission denied“. Is there any way to extend the number of lists we have? Thanks for your help, I am still pretty new to this system and don’t yet know all the ins and outs. Thanks for your inputs Jessica

CenturyTel bouncing mail from one specific AOL list member

Hi, I'm having trouble with one of my lists. CenturyTel is bouncing mail from one specific AOL user. The Mailman munge from is working as expected, and I even tried configuring mm_cfg.py to strip incoming DKIM signatures. However, as you'll see, CenturyTel is still complaining of a bad DKIM signature. No one else is. The incoming mail seems to include a DKIM signature as a nonstandard header, maybe CenturyTel knows to look for this, and is throwing a fit when it fails to verify? I've pasted below the bounce and the headers of the original message, with all private info X'd out. Any thoughts about what's going on, or what to do about it? Problem with no bounce messages

Hi: I use postfix as an MTA and on the same mailman 2. When mail is sent to a list that does not exist, the mail stays in the postfix queue in deferred state. Is there any configuration at the mailman or postfix level for that those emails that are passed to mailman to lists that do not exist be rejected immediately as when it is sent to an address that does not exist and that is handled locally by postfix?. #mailman irc channel moving to libera.chat

Hey Everyone, As some of you might already know that Freenode IRC server now has new owners and most of the volunteer staff have decided to move away from it to create a new IRC server libera.chat[1] due to the policies of the new owners. Along with many other open source projects, we have also decided to move away from freenode to use libera.chat instead. We have registered #mailman there and will be using that as primary IRC channel for Mailman things. Freenode has also decided to drop all registrations, so, #mailman channel there is no longer registered to any member of Mailman Core team as of some time earlier today (Tue June 15th). First time question

Hi, First question to this list. Excuse ignorance. I have about 2000 subscribers in a larger list where the address @XXXX has been changed by a school district to @YYYY. The @XXXX used to automatically redirect to @YYYY but this is stopping soon. Is there a way I can globally change the 2000 email addresses from @XXXX to @YYYY? Problem with the Approved message confirmation

Hi: First of all, thanks for this free software that works so well and congratulations. I use the 2.1.15 version in production server and all works well, but we have a strange operation. I send a message to a moderated list, the moderator receives a message to moderate it, I receive a message that my email is pending moderation, so far everything is correct, but the problem is that when the moderator approves the moderation, the email that arrives confirming that the moderation is Approved, it reaches the moderator, not me, who am the sender and I want to know if my message has been approved. I need the message that says "your message has been approved reaches the sender. Is this operation like this, or do I have something wrong? Many thanks.
