Hopefully, this is simple. I know nothing about the innards of Mailman -- I've been just using it as a black box for a decade and it's been working fine.
Today, in the process of handling a subscriber's non-delivery complaint, I came across this error message in WHM's Mail Delivery Reports:

Result: The mail server could not deliver mail to root(a)cloud-ci.unifiedlayer.com. The account or domain may not exist, they may be blacklisted, or missing the proper dns entries.
The recipient identified is not anything I ever set up. "unifiedlayer" belongs to my hosting provider, so this may be some sort of default or unset value. I've scoured the Mailman configuration screens for anything resembling this, or any field I should have provided but left blank, and I'm buffaloed.
Where is Mailman getting this value from, and how to I change it to something more useful?
I run a subscriber only email list with maybe 1400 subscribers (facebook has drastically diminished the number of
subscribers and use). Things were going along swimmingly until recently microsoft started blocking our list to their
email users. At first I was getting bounces with this message:
"...has been temporarily rate limited due to IP reputation"
Then, today I am getting this:
"SMTP error from remote mail server after pipelined MAIL FROM:<nome-announce-bounces(a)nomekennelclub.com>"
which I assume means they have blacklisted our IP address.
The type of posts to this email list is limited to trade and community announcements only, so nothing that constitutes
spam. We only get about 4 or 5 messages a day average on the list.
So I've been scrolling around on Microsoft's help/troubleshooting pages and am flummoxed. Any advice? The list is hosted
on a VPS I believe by Hawkhost.
On https://sendersupport.olc.protection.outlook.com/snds/JMRP, I see the below (not sure how this paste will translate
on an ascii email) which lists some IP addresses that are not ours. Ours is similar (on the 198.252..) but not the
..110. subnet. Not sure how smart it is to post IP addresses.
That's about all I have now. Hoping for advice.

I attempted to setup VERP on Mailman3 and it doesn't seem to be
changing the sender address. I don't know what the problem is.
I am using the '_' character for my verp delimiter. This is what I
have been using with mailman2 for about 15 years. It has been working
perfectly.
I'm using Postfix 3.10.5.
