Well een reinstall did the trick all works fine now. just now looking in all the futures mayby you can give one hint i only wnat to be able to mail the list
all members that post to the list must be bounced. im sure i will find this option but a hint will be nice :-)

That version runs as a daemon, not from cron - did you do<[prefix>/mailman/ bin/mailmanctl start?
