Can one subscribe a list of email addresses with their corresponding names (one email + name per line)?

Hindy,
You certainly can. Either via the web or via the command line.
Mailman will accept various formats, too. I just use the format:
Joe Smith <smithj@nomail.com>
Which works fine via the web or the command line.

Hi,
I am puzzled.
I have an email list, that I set up with my email address. I then imported another 50odd addresses - these appear under membership.
Any of these members can post to the list - but it is only received by myself (which was not imported).
So they seem to be almost set to nomail - yet they are not.
Does anyone have any thoughts as to what might be wrong?
Regards,
Ian

Check your MTA and make sure that it is not bouncing or rejecting the other email addresses. In general you should look in the logs of both Mailman and your MTA to see if you can trace the messages.
