Stripping attachments but have them available for download?
Is there any sort of filter that can have mailman strip attachments, make them available for http download, and put a little blurb in the email stating the URL? I'm trying to prevent the same document from being stored in 5000 mailboxes as well as being virus and spam checked 5000 times everytime an announcement is made. The senders refuse to learn how to do this manually.

Hi,
What is your version of mailman? In mailman-2.1.6, there is a parameter
to achieve this in the nondigest section of admin interface as
scrub_nondigest'. Set this
Yes'.
Cheers,
