
Have the same problem with postfix as mta. Nobody on this list seems to have an answer. The topic has come up a number of times before, see the archive. Permissions is a good guess, but which and where. /Hans

Ive been tinkering with mailman all day trying to get it to run, and im getting a silly error with what im guessing is permissions, the faq point to the same sort of problem, and ive tried to mod the config/reinstall it as advised by its still being a pain..

Since I'm no sendmail pro I must guess:
- either sendmail doesn't like mail to programs at all or
- /home/mailman/mail/wrapper returns an exit code of 2 which is misinterpreted by sendmail
Have you tried the program to check permissions of the mailman installation? Can sendmail deliver to programs at all? Are you using smrsh (I think you don't)
