I have just been doing a little list rearrangement which involved subscribing 500 members to a list using add_members. Part way through I noticed that my system had a huge number of python zombie processes around - looks suspiciously as though add_members is forking once per new member but nothing is cleaning up afterwards. This also caused the script to bomb out after a couple of hundred.
