Mailman + sendmail configuration help needed
Hi,
I am trying to setup mailman with sendmail , and it does not seem to work, i.e , it does not even send out e-mail after I create a list, and i should be able to subscribe to a list as well using reply to the mailman e-mail.
- version of mailman i am running= mailman-2.1-8
- how it was installed (during fresh install of redhat 9, i choose ALL packages),
- version of OS your server is running = redhat 9
- MTA (sendmail)
Any help would be appreciated.

The first thing you should do is update all the errata on the box. The stock mailman rpm from redhat 9 is badly broken and there is an updated rpm that corrects the problems.
