I've been convinced by a number of people to get a 1.2 release out sooner rather than later. It will be primarily a bug and security patch release. It will contain the new architecture for message delivery and bounce detection, but not I18N or user databases. I can't guarantee a release date, but expect to see betas Soon.

Thanks much for the response. The whole reason I feel like waiting is because of bounce handling (I hate administrivia!). Also, I would like to see 'support' for postfix which is the MTA I'm currently using. From reading the lists it seems Mailman works better with some MTAs than others.

Don't use Netscape (or enable cookie support) -- that's what I learnt the last weekend. The README should address this "problem" ;-)
