Strange behavour of reply-to
I have version 2.1.5 running on Solaris 8
Whenever I create a list the reply to address always changes the FQDN side of the reply to to the mailing list address.
IE: for mailing list at @aaaa.com
original email has:-
from: bil@rodent.org replyto: bil@rodent.org
the email on the list has:-
from: bil@aaaa.com replyto: bil@aaaa.com
Does anyone know what is happening?

I don't know, but my best guess is that this is not Mailman but rather something in the MTA/MDA configuration that's delivering the incoming mail to Mailman.

I found it. It was a rule R$ deep within sendmail.cf the changed the envelope. I guess mailman must use this...
