Hi list members,
I have a problem with an update from a mailman 2.1.4 to 2.1.11.I had no problems during the upgrade I only noticed some problems with some user account names, so I started the configure script with the parameters: --with-cgi-gid=apache --with-mail-gid=mailThat’s it. Again, no problems. My lists are all moderated so I have to approve every mail. I started sending a mail to one of my lists.I received the "user" mail, that the mail is being processed and that I can call them back etc.I also received the mail that I have a moderated mail but after approving the mail nothing happens. The mail is not sent to the users. There is no error, nothing.I have no idea where I can see where the mail is lost.
Could someone please help me with this?
Thanks!
Roi Danton

At the bottom of every message posted to this list is an URL to the Mailman FAQ at <http://wiki.list.org/x/AgA3>. I suggest you go there and search for "troubleshooting".
After reading, understanding, and trying out the various things suggested, if you have any questions then please feel free to come back.

Hi Brad,
I really tried much but nothing helps. I have no more idea what to look for because I don't get any error to search for.
It would be nice if someone has an idea what I may have.
Thanks,
Alex

If you search for "troubleshooting", the top link has the subject line "4.78 Troubleshooting - No mail going out to lists members". Click on that, and you are taken to the page at <http://wiki.list.org/display/DOC/4.78+Troubleshooting-+No+mail+going+out+to+...>, and a shorter URL for that same page is <http://wiki.list.org/x/A4E9>.
On this page is a whole laundry list of things you should check. It is likely that you are having one or more of the problems listed.
If you check all the problems listed and you can demonstrate that none of them apply to your case, then feel free to come back and ask more questions.
