Hi guys
I want to use mailman without actually using the web interface. Are there any known issues with that or you suggest that I have apache installed in any case?
Thanks

The main advantage of Mailman is its web-based interface for dealing with setup, administration, and moderation. There are some things you will NOT be able to do (easily) without at least administrative (local) html access to the Mailman lists.
If it's important that you don't have html access at all then consider using Majordomo.
