I've tried now for a couple of days to get the mailman cgi's running. I've tried apache and I've tried roxen webserver, but I end up with the same error.

This error is probably because the user the script runs under don't have the permission to create/read/open files it needs. I've read through INSTALL, several times and I can't think of anything I've missed.
I'm running mailman under FreeBSD 3.3-STABLE and postfix.
