Hello!
I am the mailman owner on a site, and I want to change a list parameter. How can I do that, if I don't know the listowner's password?

The mailman site administrator's password (created using the mailman bin/mmsitepass script) should be accepted just about anywhere that individual list administrator's or user's passwords are required. This fact should be featured prominently in the administrator's documentation, which currently means the install guide, i guess...

Hmmm...I don't remember seeing this during the install (probably was there I just don't remeber:)... can the program be run at any time to create the password or is it dependent on the install process?

It can be run at any time - go for it. (It is mentioned in the INSTALL instructions - but lacked any explanation. I've just changed that, i'm hoping that will make it a bit more noticable, and understandable...)

you can use the site password to change anything on any lost or get access to anything that requires a password.
