anonymous_list from General Options replaces the addresses even on the live list which annoys the users quite a lot.

If you want to anonymize the archive but not list posts, you'd have to modify the archiver code to do the anonomizing.

You might consider making the archive private as a way to keep out spam bots and search engines.
