ImportError: No module named sha

I periodically see the following error associated with the qrunner which runs every minute. The error happens perhaps 10 times a month, so it's pretty infrequent.
Python definitely has module sha in it, as can be seen by importing it at the command line. Most of the time, no complaints from qrunner.
Has anyone seen this and have an explanation for it?
SunOS bearmtn-e0 5.6 Generic_105181-19 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-Enterprise mailman-2.0beta4 Python 1.5.2 (#1, Aug 18 2000, 13:10:32) [GCC 2.8.0] on sunos5 (no hits on SourceForge searching for this.)
