I find that mailman works fine with Exim, and requires no patches or other tweaks to do so.

I'm glad to hear Exim works flawlessly. By the way Qmail doesn't support
this envelope forging due of the author's decision about security and
strict implementing of RFC specifications.
I downloaded Exim just now and I'll check it out ASAP. If the half is true
what you told about Exim, it have to be a good piece of software ;-)

People who havn't "confirmed" show up on the membership list... or so it seems.

I'm using the virtual server feature. It's really nice.
Question: Can I change the /listinfo/ page for one virtual server so that it's different from the others?
For example,
http://list.lifenet.com/mailman/listinfo/
Mentions "patternstudy.com" towards the bottom. This is the "Default" server.
Also, is there a way when you make the "new list" to put in the domain? Having 'new list notificatins' for one customer, "lifenet", mentioning another custtomer "patternstudy" isn't fun.
Also, who are the key developers on this project? Wicked good software.
Thank you tons,
Clark Evans
Is there a limit as to the number of subscribers?
Is 5000 too much?

Is there a way to prevent attachments from being sent to the mailing list?
a) It's often list policy to not sent attachments; and
b) There are some nasty Microsoft based Word/Outlook virues that automatically open, read the person's inbox and replicate itself to each of the sources.
Thanks!
Clark

That WOULD be a nice feature, possibly for Mailman 2.0? Have Mailman check to see if there are MIME parts in the message and have an administrative option to strip out all attachments, except possibly an HTML MIME part, before sending the message out to the list members.
