PyDelhi MOU With BitGrit
Hi Folks, PyDelhi has been sponsored by BitGrit(Food Catering in Meetup) in the past and has requested to be part of supporting and working with PyDelhi & other such communities in the long term. BitGrit Folks have been in touch with Shashank, me(Akshay) and other PyDelhi Team members while supporting our community. The PyDelhi team is proud to announce that we have gone ahead and agreed on a MOU for collaborating on :: - ● Curriculum development support - ● Skill Development Programs ● Open Source contribution MOU is attached below. We request that all you folks go through the MOU. Kind Regards Team PyDelhi
its too vague , what specifics were discussed ?
-
● Curriculum development support
Like what kind of support are they looking for and who owns the delivery timelines, copyright and how are they planning to compensate for it ?
-
● Skill Development Programs
Same questions as above
-
● Open Source contribution
This one if they start interacting more with community and showing what specific contributions they are looking for it will help us all Other things in kind like food , space and beverages we need not have any formal aggerement since its just they want to give us as a good will gesture thanks, -Satya Satyakam.dev <http://satyakam.dev/> | afrost.org | fossevents.in <http://www.fossevents.in/> ** For all official purposes use my name as Satyakam Goswami **

The agreement is to collaborate together. There were no specifics as this is not about specific collaboration but a general understanding to work towards community building together. All the points mentioned below were put in by us as we would like to work toward them with BitGrit.

We are the ones looking for support since they can help get us mentors for Data Science & Blockchain. We have been toying with the idea of having a proper organised curriculum of sorts, instead of the ad-hoc way of; we will teach what ever we can based on the availability of mentors way that we have been running PyDelhi thill now. Of course it's all a discussion till we are able to get a proper curriculum out, this is just the first step towards making that a possibility. Hopefully we can do more MOU's with organisations that are willing to provide these resources.

Same as above, the idea is to formalise the agreement to collaborate together, to get resources from their side towards making Skill development and Mentors towards Open Source contribution. This is intentionally vague as of now with no specific Give and Take mentioned yet. As that is something we could work on if the community feels this is moving towards a fruitful relation ship towards this organisation. The basic idea with this MOU was to keep collaborating further and explore on furthering this if it does work out profitable for PyDelhi and for them. +1 MOU states that it's to explore the collaborations which is a good thing in my opinion. On Tue, Apr 30, 2019 at 2:41 PM qua non <akshayaurora@gmail.com> wrote:
