Hi, Though it's very difficult to reply your question, i am trying to draw your attention towards this: 1 - No language can guarantee you to get a job but the concept you learn and the projects you do in college. 2 - I can't say whether your future would be great but yes i can say that you may shine different in this area, if you work hard. 3 - As far as your job is concerned, few people want to work in some specific areas and for that they sometime leave college placement and go for other fields which is challenging of course and many accept college placement and go for it. So it's your call what you want to do. 4 - Dude, there is nothing like full command on python, you learn as much as you can, work on good projects , if you really want to go in this area. 5 - Frankly speaking, there are very limited jobs in this area in India(IMO) but if you have a good knowledge of this it's very likely that you would get the job which is i think true with any field. Conclusion:: Rather than wasting your time on thinking which language you should learn, spend time on learning new concept, good project.
