Hi, Adithya!
Earlier today we were notified that NumPy has not been accepted to this year’s GSoD. However, you don’t have to be a GSoD participant to contribute to the NumPy documentation. Our issue tracker has plenty of documentation related issues (https://github.com/numpy/numpy/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+label%3A%2204+-+Documentation%22+). If you’d like to work on any of them, feel free to dive right in.

And if you have any questions about contributing to NumPy, consider joining one of our bi-weekly Docs team meetings or Newcomers Hours. Look out for the announcements here, on the mailing list, or subscribe to the NumPy community events calendar: https://scientific-python.org/calendars/numpy.ics

Cheers,
Inessa
