[Numpy-discussion] Fwd: PyArray_DescrConverter segfault

      I realize I need to call import_array() in the module initialization
module.  Why isn't this equivalent to importing numpy before importing my
module?

numpy.__version__

segmentation fault (core dumped)  ipython
