It's my experience that a really good facilitator could make all the difference in how productive this kind of discussion is. I have no idea how to find such a facilitator (it's a pretty rare skill), but it would be nice to try, rather than taking whoever is willing to do the bureaucratic part.... and also submit it via the SciPy conference website (you have to sign into
the dashboard and submit a new proposal) to help us keep track of everything I would be very appreciative.
