Yes, it needs to be tested properly. The build instructions for OS X Mavericks should also mention where to obtain Xcode (Appstore) and the secret command to retrieve the command-line utils after Xcode is installed: $ /usr/bin/xcode-select --install Probably it should also mention how to use alternative BLAS and LAPACK versions (MKL and OpenBLAS), although all three are equally performant on Mavericks (except Accelerate is not fork safe): https://twitter.com/nedlom/status/437427557919891457 Sturla
