All, I've recently introduced some little fixes in the SVN version of numpy.ma.core Is there any plan for a 1.2.2 release, or will we directly switch to 1.3.0 ? Do I need to backport these fixes to 12x ? Thx a lot in advance P.

Yes, please backport your fixes to the 1.2.x branch. I would like to get a 1.2.2 release out at least. I would like to release 1.2.2 before we release 0.7.0 final--in case, we need any bugfixes (and *possibly* minor changes to NumPy testing) in NumPy 1.2.x for SciPy 0.7.x. -- Jarrod Millman Computational Infrastructure for Research Labs 10 Giannini Hall, UC Berkeley phone: 510.643.4014 http://cirl.berkeley.edu/

I'd like to do a 1.1.2 release for the Python 2.3 user(s) to get out some fixes for Python 2.3 that went in after the last release. I don't want to do any more than that, although if something can be copied straight over that might be a go. Chuck

+1. I am happy to help out with this too. How soon do you want to release 1.1.2? I could help later this week. If you can get the branch ready and take care of the release notes, I can take care of everything after that. It would also be great if you could help figure out what needs to be back-ported from the trunk to the 1.2.x branch. The next two or three weeks are going to be busy ones for me, so probably after that unless things go unusually well. Chuck
