Are there 3D-printable protective cases for PewPew standalone (as sold by Makerfabs)?

Hi all I've run a course with PewPew standalone devices from Makerfabs <https://makerfabs.com/pewpew-standalone.html>. Some of them broke during the course. (We had one ripped-of USB port and one broken battery holder.) So we're considering to 3D-print some protective cases for the next course. Are there any existing designs / models we could use for that? Ideally, the display would be visible and the buttons and on/off switch operable while in the case, and it should be possible to plug and unplug the USB cable. It's not necessary to be able to access the batteries without removing the case, nor do we need access to the 12-pin connector <https://pewpew.readthedocs.io/en/latest/pewpew10/hardware.html#the-12-pin-co...>. But if any other models or case designs already exist, I'd be interested in them, too. Kind regards, Raphael

The USB port is a production fault. It has been fixed now, and all new PewPew Standalone have it properly soldered. If you write to Makerfabs, you can get your broken device replaced for free. For the battery holder, you could use this laser-cut design I made: https://hackaday.io/project/159733-pewpew-standalone/log/164386 The design files are available at: https://cdn.hackaday.io/files/1597336834016672/pewpew-10.2-laser9.zip.zip I don't know about any other designs for a case for the PewPew Standalone. -- Radomir Dopieralski
