At the end of 2020, Google graciously decided to award $350k to the PSF for some packaging work and funding to help hire a core developer. The funding hasn't come in yet but we are preparing for when that time comes.
Attached is Google's blog in PDF format for review. If possible, maybe Dustin can give you both access to the google doc itself.
