To be fair there are only 2 people on the team who've been on it who knows how long already.

I'd bet that this is a significant path for event discovery for newbies who aren't already embedded in the network of events and social media streams. I used it to join the wider UK Python community several years ago and have found it very useful since. I'm sure we can pull together a few more people for a few more hours of reviewing and then reviews will speed up.
