Below are updates for this year's ballot. PSF Board Elections for 2021/22 term
All eligible voters in this year's election should have an email from *Helios Voting Bot firstname.lastname@example.org email@example.com* in their inboxes. Check your spam folders please - I found mine in spam, unfortunately. Email me directly (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you need us to re-send it to you.
We have a great list of candidates this year and I urge everyone to take a few minutes to vote. Bylaw updatesWhat happened
Due to human error, the previously proposed bylaw changes did not make it onto this ballot ( https://mail.python.org/mailman/private/psf-vote/2021-May/000463.html). There isn't a way to cancel the vote or update the ballot via Helios. How it's being rectified
To make sure folks don't accidentally miss the board nomination ballot in the midst of receiving a second ballot at the same time, it was decided to send out a second ballot after the board election closes, which is scheduled to happen June 17th. At that time, the PSF will send out a second ballot for the bylaw changes - we will send a reminder to the psf-vote@ list when it is sent.
For future ballots the PSF staff and board will put checks and balances in place so we can avoid these types of errors.
We apologize for the inconvenience!

Indeed! So did I, and I would have missed it if you hadn't said this. I use gmail, and it's never put a PSF-related vote in Spam before, so I wouldn't expect it - and I get hundreds of spam in my gmail Spam folder every day so rarely check it.
